Created by teenage girls and boys during an 8-session, one-month workshop, this maskwork focused on illustrating what the youth show and what they shield from the world.
The youth then went on to work on the bodies which depict what they feel and what nourishes them.
In conclusion, each youth wrote a poem to help direct the viewer through the various painted and collaged aspects of the work.
The finished pieces were adapted by the youth for a presentation through movement as the poem was read before a crowd of supportive viewers.
